Objective
participants of the training will have a realistic plan on how to get a profitable poultry enterprise that fits their particular situation and needs.
Set-up
module 1 (1.5 hour) : how to keep Kuroilers
- visit the Jolly poultry farm (a small intensive farm)
- challenges
- tips and tricks
module 2 (0.5 hour) : basics of finances
- how to calculate profitability
module 3 (2 hours)
-individual reflection on one's personal situation
-exchanging among participants
There will be lot of space to raise your questions and concerns about Kuroilers.
Minimum 8 and maximum 12 participants.

Who gives the training?
Training will be given by Theresia and Catherine.
Theresia has many years of experience in poultry farming running a successful smallholder farm. She knows like no one else what is feasible and what not, even in the most unusual situations.
Catherine has a background in business economics and is about to be a certified adult educator (in the Swiss education system). She makes sure that the training is set up in a way that participants do not just acquire knowledge but develop their own capacity to apply the knowledge to their particular situations.
